Terms and Conditions
General
Welcome to 3Dembryoprints, a spin-off company of Amsterdam UMC, in collaboration with cirp GmbH, dedicated to creating educational 3D prints for both (bio)medical education and for clinicians and patients.
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the purchase of our products. By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use 3Dembryoprints if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Definitions
Company: Refers to 3Dembryoprints, a spin-off company of Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in collaboration with cirp GmbH, Heimsheim, Germany.
Customer: Refers to the individual or entity purchasing goods from the Company.
Products: Refers to the 3D-printed embryo models and any other goods offered for sale by the Company.
Orders and Payments
All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company.
Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time and for any reason.
Custom Products
All 3D-printed models are custom-made to order.
Due to the custom nature of these products, returns are not accepted unless the product is defective or there has been an error on the part of the Company.
Return Policy
Non-returnable Items: Custom 3D-printed embryo models cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied by the Company.
Defective Products: If a product is found to be defective, the Customer must notify the Company within 14 days of receipt. The Company will, at its discretion, replace the defective product or provide a refund.
Return Process: To initiate a return for a defective product, please contact our customer service with your order number and details of the defect. Do not return products without prior authorization from the Company.
Warranty
The Company warrants that the products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or alterations to the product by the Customer.
If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, the Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product at no charge.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the purchase of products shall not exceed the purchase price of the products giving rise to the claim.
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or personal injury, arising from the use or inability to use the products.
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of the products.
Product disclaimer
The 3D-printed models are described to the best of our ability, and we strive to ensure that product information is accurate and complete. However, due to the custom nature of the printing process and material variations, the models may slightly differ from the photos and videos displayed on our website. These differences do not affect the educational value or functionality of the models.
Medical disclaimer
The 3D-printed embryo models offered by 3Dembryoprints are intended solely for educational and illustrative purposes. These models are not designed or intended to be used as medical devices, diagnostic tools, or therapeutic instruments. The Company does not provide any guarantees or assurances that the models are suitable for any clinical or medical application. By purchasing and using these models, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that 3Dembryoprints shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to any claims, losses, or injuries arising from the use or misuse of the models in any medical or clinical context. The Customer further agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims or damages resulting from such use.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the products, including but not limited to designs, trademarks, and copyrights, are owned by the Company.
The Customer may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the products without the prior written consent of the Company.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
The Customer is responsible for reviewing these terms and conditions periodically for any updates or changes.
