Complete set Vascular
Explore the intricate stages of human fetal development with this range of 3D embryo models. This set showcases the development of the human cardiovascular system, based on the 3D Embryo atlas as published in Science. Designed for educational purposes, these models provide an unparalleled look into the different stages of development of the heart and vascular system.
Each model is based on a specific specimen from the Carnegie collection. This set contains models of Carnegie stages 10, 13, 16, and 20. Which are based on Carnegie collection Specimen 6330, 836, 6517, and 462 respectively.
Each 3D model is cut on the sagittal plane, and contains small magnets enabling the use of the model as a complete 3D model as well as providing an up close view of all structures from the sagittal plane. As the 3D models were developed for educational purposes, interactive, digital versions of each model are available online. These online models are freely accessible on the 3D embryo atlas website, for the purpose of increasing the educational value of the 3D models as well as to enhance the educational experience.
Additionally, each 3D embryo set purchased comes with a clear embryo development block. This block containing true to size embryo models, corresponding to the Carnegie stages in the purchased set and will help put the scale of the 3D models into perspective.
